A Passion Project

Images of Hope

Ten years of composite portraits celebrating the strength, resilience, and extraordinary beauty of breast cancer survivors.

Images of Hope — fine art portrait book by Dana Klein celebrating breast cancer survivors

The Story Behind the Project

Images of Hope began as a simple idea: what if we could show breast cancer survivors the way the world sees them. Not as patients, but as strong, beautiful women with hopes and dreams.

Over the past decade, I've donated my time and art to create composite portraits for survivors, each one a deeply personal narrative that celebrates their journey. These aren't pictures of illness. They're portraits of triumph.

The Images of Hope book collects these stories and portraits into a single volume. A testament to the human spirit and the power of art to heal, inspire, and give hope.

“Images of Hope is the work that reminds me why I became an artist. It's not about the camera or the composite. It's about seeing someone's strength and making it visible.”
